Piedmont Park Ice Skating Is Your Ticket to an Unforgettable Evening

Coast Along the Ice at Park Tavern

Piedmont Park isn’t only a warm-weather attraction. From Thanksgiving weekend to Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Park Tavern in Atlanta unveils a spectacular ice rink inside its Garden Tent at the Park. No matter what conditions the weather throws our way, you can duck inside for a pleasant evening in this temperature-controlled environment. Plus, it’s in a convenient location on the Atlanta BeltLine.

The rink is open seven days a week and has plenty of room for up to 200 skaters. You can purchase tickets and check it out Monday through Friday from 4:30 p.m. to midnight, and on weekends from 11:30 a.m. to midnight. People of all ages are welcome to enjoy the ice until 8:00, but at 8:30, it’s reserved for ages 16 and older. This later session is the perfect chance for a fun date with your significant other while avoiding the earlier crowds!

Piedmont Park also hosts some incredible events, including the Jazz Festival, Music Midtown, and the Kite Festival! Mark your calendars to check them out this year!

Sit Rinkside With Delicious Food and Drinks

After several laps on the ice, you may find yourself craving some food. Luckily, you don’t have to go far to find delicious options! In addition to indoor ice skating in Atlanta, Park Tavern has an excellent restaurant and bar. You’re welcome to peruse the menu and choose from burgers, sandwiches, tacos, and more. Seafood lovers can take advantage of half-price sushi every night from 9 p.m. until midnight!

Grab a seat in the restaurant overlooking Piedmont Park or enjoy a quick snack rinkside as you watch the other skaters. There are a variety of tasty wines, beers, and cocktails available as well. After a short break, get ready for some more fun on the ice!
