Atlanta St. Patrick’s Day Parade

You might not discover a pot of gold, but you’ll find plenty of entertainment at the Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Atlanta. The parade began in 1858, making it the longest-running event in the whole city! Watch in awe as participants don the traditional green colors and set off from Peachtree Street in Midtown Atlanta. There are hundreds of performers, people in costumes, creative floats, and more. Arrive early to secure prime real estate for viewing it all!

Green Market in Piedmont Park

Support local farmers and vendors just a few blocks away from Stonehurst Place at the Green Market in Piedmont ParkAccess Atlanta voted it one of the top five farmers markets in the city, so you can bet you’ll find plenty of treasures and tasty treats. Best of all, it kicks off in the springtime and runs all the way through the fall so that you have ample opportunities to check it out. The Green Market occurs on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., rain or shine. Make sure you plan ahead and dress accordingly!

Atlanta Dogwood Festival

Welcome spring the right way at Atlanta Dogwood Festival held each April in nearby Piedmont Park! Beautiful flowers are in bloom, and so are remarkable experiences. There are art shows, outdoor concerts, and plenty of food vendors. Consider signing up for the popular Mimosa 5K and visit the International Stage & Village at Lake Clara Meer for music and dancing from around the world!

Atlanta Jazz Festival

Midtown Atlanta is perfect for Memorial Day Weekend getaways, in part because of the Atlanta Jazz Festival. The city comes to life with musical performances throughout May, and it all leads up to a stunning finale at Piedmont Park near our inn.
