Tucked within the main house’s eaves, this elegant room has striking city views of Atlanta. Gaze through the beautiful, arched leaded glass windows that overlook the lush front Parterre Garden. At the end of a long day, take a hot shower in the beautiful, marble bathroom and relax in the comfortable, queen size platform bed.

The Gables Suite and The Eaves are the only adjoining rooms and can be rented as a large, 2-bedroom suite.

The Eaves is furnished with a queen size daybed, our custom suit armchair, a mirrored writing desk, and a mirrored dresser. The Eaves is perfect for minimalist-minded travelers who don’t require much storage space. Moreover, taller guests may be uncomfortable with the sloped ceilings of this room and may prefer to select an alternate room or suite. The Eaves is located on the second floor accessed by a staircase only, there is no elevator in the Main House.

When I hear John and Grace, I immediately think: the most inviting and wonderful hosts. My girlfriend and I stayed in the Fowler suite, the most luxurious, comfortable, and wonderful suite I’ve ever been in. The breakfast was unique and amazing, everything about Stonehurst was wonderful. We will be sure to come back! No other bed and breakfast feels the same after experiencing John and Grace’s amazing hospitality and service. Thank you both so much, and we will be sure to see you soon.

I needed a respite, so I booked a couple of days for me time in the Farnsworth room. The staff is stellar. The breakfast and treats are delicious. The location can’t be beat - I parked the car and explored the city on foot and by bicycle (there are also scooters around for the more trendy folks). Believe the hype, bring your significant other for an in town getaway or leave them at home and get your relax on like I did. Many thanks to John, Grace and staff for creating an environment that is welcoming, warm and peaceful. My Chi is once again balanced.

This is our second go around with John, Grace and their staff. We tell everyone we know that if you want a wonderful stay, this is the best place in Atlanta to stay.
