Gables Suite

In 1907, the owners of Stonehurst expanded the house upward to make room for their growing family. They created this room in the process, which now provides a tranquil escape in the gables of the home. Study the original artwork, lounge on the king size bed, or work at the large writing desk. This space is perfect for those seeking privacy, comfort, and relaxation.

The Gables Suite and The Eaves are our only adjoining rooms and can be rented as a large, 2-bedroom suite.

When I hear John and Grace, I immediately think: the most inviting and wonderful hosts. My girlfriend and I stayed in the Fowler suite, the most luxurious, comfortable, and wonderful suite I’ve ever been in. The breakfast was unique and amazing, everything about Stonehurst was wonderful. We will be sure to come back! No other bed and breakfast feels the same after experiencing John and Grace’s amazing hospitality and service. Thank you both so much, and we will be sure to see you soon.

I needed a respite, so I booked a couple of days for me time in the Farnsworth room. The staff is stellar. The breakfast and treats are delicious. The location can’t be beat - I parked the car and explored the city on foot and by bicycle (there are also scooters around for the more trendy folks). Believe the hype, bring your significant other for an in town getaway or leave them at home and get your relax on like I did. Many thanks to John, Grace and staff for creating an environment that is welcoming, warm and peaceful. My Chi is once again balanced.

This is our second go around with John, Grace and their staff. We tell everyone we know that if you want a wonderful stay, this is the best place in Atlanta to stay. Grace's culinary skills are above and beyond the norm. Each breakfast is an adventure. And John, words cannot express his friendly attitude toward each guest, we love coming and hate leaving.
