The Fowler Suite is located in the Carriage House, separate from the 1896 mansion. 

The dramatic suite is inspired by and filled with art by renowned British artist Nina Mae Fowler, offering accommodation over two floors with an open double-height space and plush sitting area. Lounge in front of the sleek, remote-controlled electric fireplace as the Samsung Frame TV displays Fowler’s art. Take time to unwind solo or with a partner upstairs in your spacious soaking tub surrounded by marble and glass tile.

The Fowler Suite features a custom king size bed and matching settee by exclusive Hollywood furniture maker Haute House. The suite also includes an executive desk with Haute House desk chair, large mirrored armoire, Samsung Frame 55-inch TV and separate toilet room all on the main floor. Upstairs, you’ll find more of Fowler’s art featured above in the gorgeous open floor plan bathroom that also features a soaking tub for two, unique open-air walk-in multi-head shower for two, heated marble bathroom floor and heated towel rack.

When I hear John and Grace, I immediately think: the most inviting and wonderful hosts. My girlfriend and I stayed in the Fowler suite, the most luxurious, comfortable, and wonderful suite I’ve ever been in. The breakfast was unique and amazing, everything about Stonehurst was wonderful. We will be sure to come back! No other bed and breakfast feels the same after experiencing John and Grace’s amazing hospitality and service. Thank you both so much, and we will be sure to see you soon.

I needed a respite, so I booked a couple of days for me time in the Farnsworth room. The staff is stellar. The breakfast and treats are delicious. The location can’t be beat - I parked the car and explored the city on foot and by bicycle (there are also scooters around for the more trendy folks). Believe the hype, bring your significant other for an in town getaway or leave them at home and get your relax on like I did. Many thanks to John, Grace and staff for creating an environment that is welcoming, warm and peaceful. My Chi is once again balanced.
