Midtown Atlanta never ceases to live up to the title “The Heart of the Arts.” Our National Register Historic District is home to a variety of galleries, artists, avid collectors and private collections, which is something worth celebrating! The Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces brings that celebration to life each year at the Piedmont Park Arts Festival. Creatives from all over Georgia and beyond gather in Midtown Atlanta from August 15 - 16 to showcase their talents, and you won’t want to miss it.
Your Guide to the Piedmont Park Arts Festival
The Artwork
Piedmont Park is an endless source of beauty year round, so it’s fitting for the park to host beautiful works of art at the festival. This treasured public space will be full of paintings, photographs, sculptures, crafts and more from up to 250 artists this year! Explore all of the booths to awaken your creative spirit and purchase your favorite works. You’ll be supporting the artists and helping this Midtown event live on, bringing the power of art to the community. Keep an eye out for various artist demonstrations, too!
The Entertainment
This festival isn’t only for the visual arts! As you peruse paintings and photographs, acoustic musicians provide pleasant sounds throughout the park. These local performers offer delightful background music for your artistic adventures. With the park’s beautiful scenery, the stunning artwork, and sweet sounds from musicians, you’ll wish the festival would never end!

You don’t need to walk far to satisfy your hunger. Simply head over to one of the plentiful food trucks and order something delicious to fuel your day in the park. There will be festival foods for every craving and plenty of healthy alternatives. Grab a seat on a picnic bench or eat on the go!
